Over the past week our principal Dr Sian Ford has returned from her trip from the UK to see her family.

After careful consideration we have decided to take the precautionary measure to quarantine Dr Ford for 14 days from the date of her departure from the UK. Dr Ford has expressed that she is not prepared to risk the safety of our patients or the reputation of our practice. She does have Theo her crazy cocker spaniel for company. She will return to practice on Thursday 26th March to resume normal consultations.

For those patients who are eligible, Dr ford can still consult during her quarantine period via telehealth. These include patients who have chronic health conditions or who are immunocompromised, patients over 70 years of age or Aboriginal & Torres strait islander people aged over 50 years of age. Parents of new babies and people who are pregnant are also eligible. If you are in doubt as to your eligibility please call the state COVID-19 hotline on 13HEALTH or find information here – http://www.health.qld.gov.au/coronavirus. To book a telehealth consultation please call our friendly receptionists on 07 4635 1688.
