To continue our provision of quality medical services we are amending our fee structure from 1st April 2024.

The operational costs of running and maintaining a medical practice continue to increase annually and particularly in the current COVID environment.  The funded Medicare rebates are not adequate to cover the true costs of providing quality healthcare to our patients.  As a consequence, we have no option but to decrease the amount of bulk billing we have previously provided to our patients.

We will continue to bulk bill some appointments, namely:

  • Health assessments for eligible patients
  • Childhood vaccinations and catch up vaccinations
  • Flu vaccinations
  • GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement
  • Healthy Heart Checks.

All GP Mental Health Treatment Plans will attract an out of pocket gap of $50.00.

All procedures will incur an out of pocket room fee of $75 payable on the day of the procedure, non-Medicare rebateable. The cost of the procedure will be privately billed with a minimum out of pocket of $50.

Cancellation Fee
If you are unable to keep an appointment please advise our receptionists as early as possible so we may offer the appointment to another patient.
Failure to cancel an appointment within a reasonable time frame of 4 hours will attract a fee of $50.00 – non-Medicare rebateable.
New Patient Bookings
New Patients will be charged a $50 deposit when booking their initial consult. This payment will be deducted from the total cost of the consult. However, it will be forfeited if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours. It will not be refunded if you later cancel the appointment unless it is:
In circumstances out of your control, such as a natural disaster or medical emergency; or
If the appointment is cancelled outside of the 24 hours.
A further $50 deposit will be required if the appointment is rescheduled.
Please ensure separate appointments are made for each family member. If you have more than one concern to discuss with the GP please book a longer appointment.
If you have any problems with our billing policy, please contact your local federal member of parliament.
